...that I would like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! better with a 440+6 instead of a Hemi? The air grabber hood just isn't as hot as the one with the creased side-vents, and the Hemis only came with air grabbers.

agreed. Side vents were the most badass looking.

The 440 cars could be had with the Grabber hood, FYI. I prefer the Grabber hood over the faux-sidevent hood because it's neato.

The 440's were the better street motor. The Hemi's were finicky and needed tuning before they were faster in the 1/4 mile.

I almost had one of these with a 440 6 pack. it was in rough condition but repairable, just didnt have the space for it at the time. Makes me sad every time I think about it.

My friend's father has a 68 GTX with a 440 but it was originally a Hemi car. Nice car, but it's a sad car in a way.

I'd take the 440-6 for the simple fact that they're more attainable than the 426.

Also, I absolutely adore the B-body fuselage era. I'm one of the few that prefers it to the 1968-70.

I don't really care, but Hemi. I always thought the grabber hood was pretty cool, though you might look stupid if your about to street race and you then raise the scoop; 'we got a badass over here'.

I love Air Grabber, and let's be honest here, they got more out of the 440 6 pack than the hemi.

Much cooler motor. ALWAYS go 440 6 pack if you were to look at these cars.

Here's my ultimate dream spec: 1971 Roadrunner or GTX with 440+6, 4 speed, standard hood, front lip spoilers, no rear spoiler, small padded steering wheel, hood pins, chrome bumper (not poly), steel wheels (Roadrunner only) or Rallye wheels (GTX only). Evening Blue Metallic paint with white front fender "war paint" stripes, of course. Blue/white interior and bucket seats.

B-body fuselage in 1971 and 1972 ONLY.

Two words: Loop Bumpers.

When you get someone like John Herlitz who spent a career designing cars say that his favorite car he designed in his entire life was the 1971 GTX, you take notice.

The '71-72 Plymouths, absolutely. The '73 facelift ruined the nose for me. The Charger had the loop bumpers through 1974, though.

Fantastic styling fad that started on the '67 Pontiacs, as I recall. My favorite example has to be the '72 Imperial, though:

Charger C-pillar is all wrong. (And don't get me started on those opera windows.) The best example of Chargers are also 1971—72, and I still think they don't compare to the Plymouths.

Plus, for me, and call me picky if you will, the rounded loop with the downturned ends that emphasize the double headlights has always struck me as just PERFECT.

No doubt the '71-72 Plymouths are prettier than the Chargers. I think the nose on the '72 Fury was great, too.

Absolutely. I can't really see myself driving a Fury. Not when road lanes are only 12 feet wide.
